Clubs

Our Services

The services offered by Rosemount Primary and Nursery School can help you as a parent to balance work and family commitments, become involved in your child’s learning and give them a broader range of experiences and interests.

Early Bird Club 8.00 am – 8.45 am

The Children who attend our breakfast club are provided with a choice of toast, fruit and a drink in a safe, secure and inclusive environment prior to the day starting. The club is run by members of school staff whom the children are familiar with. We are delighted to see so many of our pupils using this facility - particularly our nursery and P1 pupils.

At 8.45am, the Breakfast club staff escort the children to the Assembly Hall where they are supervised before being taken to class at 9.00am

Junior Club (Primary 1, 2, 3)

Our younger pupils have the opportunity to attend clubs each day (2:20pm to 4pm - Monday to Thursday and 2:20pm to 3pm on Friday). The following clubs are available for our younger pupils:-

  • hip-hop,
  • story-telling sessions in the school library,
  • computer club,
  • mini-games in the assembly hall,
  • football,
  • creative play

These clubs are run by trained coaches and experienced classroom assistants providing the children with a variety of physical activities and educational opportunities.

Senior Club (Primary 4, 5, 6, 7)

The following clubs are available for pupils P4 to P7 and run each day at 3pm to 4pm from Monday to Friday :

  • Spanish Club (Mrs Coyle)
  • Homework Club
  • Choir (P4-P7) (Mrs Cullen Mrs Meenan)
  • Contemporary Dance (Hip Hop) (Miss Brona Jackson)
  • Football Club P5 - P7 (Mr  Quinn)
  • Art Club( Mrs Kelly)
  • Mathletics Club ( Mrs Deehan)
  • Engineering Club (Mrs Mc Menamin)
